Jennie Koss

Senior Consultant

Jennie has a strong understanding of technology which has greatly benefited Cooper Consulting and our clients.  She joined the firm in 1997 where she has spent over 20 years serving the needs of associations and non-profit organizations.

She got her start in I.T. consulting at Booz·Allen & Hamilton where she served several federal government organizations as well as many large non-profit clients working on systems integration and business process redesign projects.

Throughout her career Jennie has gained significant knowledge of the enterprise software and supporting applications that serve the association industry. This expertise is invaluable when facilitating software and vendor selections for clients – such as choosing an association management or a CRM system – or when managing an implementation or upgrade project.

Jennie is a detail-oriented project leader who has successfully managed a wide variety of software implementation, upgrade, and integration projects.  She has been involved with all aspects of development, configuration, procedure development, testing, and live operations support.  When assisting with an implementation, Jennie helps companies avoid the pitfalls of excessive customization by encouraging and facilitating key changes to business processes. She also has web site and software application development experience from her early days in I.T. which she can draw from when analyzing existing or replacement systems.

Some might call Jennie a “rocket scientist”. Kidding aside, she actually has a degree in aerospace engineering and started her consulting career supporting the NASA space station project.
